the soul partially filleted –
flaps in the breeze.
healing comes ever so slowly
after the rains subside.
bring on the sun –
darkness is never a friend.

This is wonderful. Raw and relatable.

What a powerful poem with so few words. It really packs a punch, with gut-wrenching images. “The soul partially filleted” is so original and unforgettable. The pain is palpable. I can only hope that putting it on paper gave you some relief.
