it’s a feel
you have to have.
when it’s side by side,
it’s a unison companion.
sometimes trials get in the way –
they carve up your spirit
until one day
you get off your belly
in the darkened valley.
life starts to fall in place –
the soul no longer an enemy.
then it comes to fruition
when she takes your hand,
“with me you will feel the tingle.”
Really liked this one.<3
thanx for that. i think it’s the ending that sells it the best. went to a reading last night. kinda called the combo – poetry and brews:)
Safe to assume you are a romantic at heart, Don? 🙂
it’s safe to say that i’m a romantic at heart. the only thing is i’m just a a 1/2 a romantic because the other half hasn’t come to fruition just yet.:)
